Conway Medical Marijuana Doctor

AR MMJ Cards provides medical marijuana cards to residents of Conway Arkansas from our Little Rock Location

With 64,000 residents, Conway was once considered a bedroom community to Little Rock. However, Conway has grown into a city with its own identity. In spite of strategic growth and significant economic development, Conway has kept its small-town friendliness and charm and now sets the standard for similarly-sized communities throughout the state. More than $300 million in commercial construction projects are currently underway in Conway. An additional one-million square feet of retail is scheduled for development over the next three years. After opening a new airport in 2014, the city soon had to begin expanding to meet the demand for additional general aviation and private hangars.

Conway is referred to as the “City of Colleges” because three of the state’s finest educational institutions are located here. They include the University of Central Arkansas, Hendrix College, and Central Baptist College. The three campuses provide a wide variety of educational, entertainment, sporting events, guest lecturers, and culture for the area. The colleges offer many major arts events, productions, and opportunities. There are many local arts organizations including the Lantern Theater, the Red Curtain Theater, the Conway Symphony Orchestra, the Arkansas Shakespeare Theater, FretMonkey Records Studio and more. There are also annual arts events in town, including a festival called Conway ArtsFest and beautiful murals throughout the town. Conway’s primary and secondary schools are also exemplary and a driver of the area’s growth. Conway Public Schools educate 9,700 students and private schools educate nearly 1,000 additional students.

Outdoor recreational opportunities are another draw of the area. Lake Conway is the largest man-made game and fish commission lake in the U.S. at 6,700 acres. The lake hosts competitive sport fishing tournaments and offers bluegill, crappie, redear sunfish, channel catfish, and largemouth bass fishing. It is a popular destination for anglers. There are boat ramps around the lake to launch from for either no charge or for a small fee. Handicapped-accessible fishing piers are also available. Lake Beaverfork is a city-owned recreational lake and park accommodating waterskiing, boating, fishing and swimming, as well as disc golf and pavilions for picnics. Conway offers an additional 17 parks and is one of four Arkansas communities dubbed a “Bicycle-Friendly City.” The Tucker Creek Trail is popular with cyclists from around the country, offering pedestrians and cyclists beautifully-maintained trail and park space. There are many community events, free concerts, 5K runs, and seasonal festivals that frequently welcome more than 150,000 to the city’s historic downtown district.

Visitors can also enjoy touring the Arkansas Rock ‘N’ Roll Highway 67 Museum. Located in nearby Newport, the museum chronicles not only the music greats, but also digs deeper into the local aspects of the popular music progression that led to the genre of Rock and Roll. Vintage photos and other memorabilia from former clubs the Silver Moon, Porky’s Roof Top, and King of Clubs are displayed, along with items from clubs and joints between Newport to Pocahontas that played host to Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Conway Twitty, Sonny Burgess and Billy Lee Riley. The unique history preserved here has been acknowledged by rock legends including The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen and many others.

The AR MMJ Card process: a potential patient will submit the patient information form found on our website and upload a record of a qualifying condition. Within one business day, the patient will receive a phone call to schedule a concierge appointment. Visits generally take about 15 minutes, but extra time is reserved so the doctor is able to answer any questions the patient may have. Upon conclusion of the certification, the patient will receive the Physician’s Written Certification required for a State-issued medical marijuana card. We guide every patient through the process of applying with the state of Arkansas, once you have received your medical recommendation from AR MMJ Card’s concierge physician.

For patients without documentation of a qualifying condition, an appointment will need to be scheduled with our concierge service to confirm qualification for $100 before proceeding with medical marijuana card certification. Per HIPAA regulations, any information obtained between a physician and a patient in a bona fide medical arrangement is completely confidential and private. This is known as Protected Health Information and a third party can only obtain it with the written consent of the patient. Qualification is not guaranteed. Qualifying is based on the doctor’s determination, qualifying conditions, and a patient’s complete medical history.

AR MMJ Cards (Arkansas Medical Marijuana Card) was founded by Dr. Daniel Whitelocke to ensure patients receive quality care and have access to alternative medicines including medical cannabis. After extensive research on the benefits of medical marijuana card programs in other states, Dr. Whitelocke decided he wanted to help patients by offering affordable medical cannabis card certifications. Rather than having patients experience the inconvenience of a long clinic wait and added cost, Arkansas Medical Marijuana Card services are brought directly to the patient.

Dr. Whitelocke is the only MMJ Card certification that offers mobile medical marijuana cards – he or his team can meet at a home, office, favorite coffee place, or other location that is convenient for the patient. It is important to note that AR MMJ Cards does not carry ANY form of marijuana products nor do we sell any form of THC-containing products in our mobile clinics. These products can only be obtained legally from a licensed Arkansas dispensary.
